Secondly the rooms were not well maintained or cleaned daily, the duvet cover was ripped and sheets were not often changed. Unfortunately the rooms were very dusty, to a point a member of our group had an asthma trigger which had made the trip uncomfortable for her. We had booked 2 suites and a standard double room.

Unfortunately we had requested rooms to be together and that was unavailable. We were seen quickly and provided with rooms. We arrived to Pullman Zamzam in a group of 10 adults and 3 children. I have experienced superior accommodations in lower-rated 4 and 3-star hotels, making this particular experience all the more disappointing.… It is disheartening to realize that a hotel bearing the Pullman name and managed by Accor fell so far short of my expectations. The presence of a small kitchenette that remained non-functional due to security measures only added to the frustration. Overall, my high expectations for this hotel were met with disappointment due to the poor quality of the establishment, room, and other services. It was necessary to approach the window and look from the extreme right corner to catch a glimpse of the Haram, which was far from the experience I had anticipated. Incredibly, even though I had paid extra for a partial Haram view, my direct view was obstructed by another building. To compound matters, the room key stopped working multiple times, necessitating trips to the reception for replacements instead of being able to rest as desired. We could hear every sound from the neighboring room, including laughter and coughing, and even experienced the unwelcome scent of smoke from the adjoining room, despite smoking being prohibited.

The presence of a connecting door in the room, while potentially useful for connecting two rooms, proved to be a nightmare. In the end, my companions and I chose to skip it altogether.

The breakfast quality was another letdown, with limited options that left much to be desired. The outdated appliances, including an old TV and a loud fridge, made it difficult to relax and sleep peacefully. One notable drawback was the lack of a ceiling light, resulting in a dimly lit room that felt darker than it should be. While the live Athan broadcast to the room was a nice touch, several aspects of my experience fell short. My recent stay at Pullman ZamZam Makkah was unfortunately a disappointment, despite the hotel's desirable location as part of the Makkah clock towers.
